INTRODUCTION
COLOOP is a platform aiming to drive sustainable change by sharing accessible and empowering sustainability content. I was given the task to design and develop an interactive recycling map which provided recycling spots and campaigns information from every day brands.

Effortlessly locate designated recycling spots tailored to items from specific brands, ensuring proper disposal of brand-specific packaging and materials while reducing confusion and uncertainty through clear recycling information.

IMPACT
It encompasses a network of 1,600 recycling spots and features campaigns from over 38 every day brands including Adidas, LUSH, IKEA, Nike, and more, spanning across 19 districts in Hong Kong.

I am proud to work on a project that could make an impact on people’s lives and contribute to a greener environment. Working on the development of the recycling map provided me with an opportunity to learn to use the Google Maps API, which I had never used before this project. It not only presented challenges but also gave me the confidence to design and develop a high-fidelity prototype. After the product was launched, I noticed some areas that could be improved. If there is any chance to work on this product in the future, I would continue to gather user feedback and make improvements.
